Terms of Use

Effective 18 September 2026. These terms apply to the Fishing Spot Finder app for iPhone and Apple Watch, published by MR SOFT IT ("we").

1. Agreement

By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or any part of it.

3. Free features and Pro

The core features are free. Pro is sold three ways, all processed by Apple: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown in the App Store unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone. The Lifetime purchase does not renew. You can restore any purchase on another device from the app's Settings screen with the same Apple Account.

4. Refunds

Apple handles all payments and refunds under its own policies. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

5. Data and accuracy

Tide, current, water level, temperature and wind data come from the public NOAA CO-OPS service. Predictions can differ from real conditions, sensors can fail, and the service can be unavailable. The bite rating (Prime, Fair, Slack) is an estimate calculated by the app, not a measurement, and does not guarantee fish.

The app is not a navigation aid and must not be used for navigation, safety-of-life decisions, or any purpose where an error could cause harm. Always check official sources and use your own judgement on the water.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own safety, for following local fishing laws, licences, seasons and bag limits, and for using the app only where it is legal to do so.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of catch, time, equipment, data or profit, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its design, text and code belong to MR SOFT IT. NOAA data is public and belongs to the US government. Apple, iPhone and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc.

10. Changes and termination

We may update the app or these terms at any time. The current terms are always on this page with their effective date. We may stop offering the app or any feature. Your licence ends if you break these terms; delete the app to end it yourself.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where MR SOFT IT is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law in your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
