Effective 18 September 2026. Applies to the PlugRange app for iPhone, published by MR SOFT IT.

The short version

We do not collect, store or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no in-app purchases and no third-party SDKs. We have no servers.

Location

If you allow it, the app reads your location on the device to centre the map and find the chargers you can reach. Your location is never stored by us and never sent to us. You can deny location and search for a town or address instead.

Requests to open data services

To show chargers and weather, the app sends requests to public open data services: Open Charge Map (openchargemap.org), OpenStreetMap via the Overpass API, and Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). These requests contain map coordinates and a search radius only. They carry no user id, device id or account. Place search, routes and nearby amenities use Apple Maps, which is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Data stored on your device

Your chosen car, battery percent, filters, saved stations, check-ins and the last loaded stations are stored only on your iPhone. The widget reads the same data through an App Group on the device. All of it is removed when you delete the app.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
