Terms of Use

Effective 18 September 2026. These terms apply to the PlugRange app for iPhone, published by MR SOFT IT ("we").

1. Agreement

By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or any part of it.

3. Price

The app is free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads.

4. Data and accuracy

Charger locations, plugs, power, prices and status come from Open Charge Map and OpenStreetMap, which are edited by their communities and can be wrong or out of date. Weather comes from Open-Meteo. Occupancy is not live. The range shown is an estimate calculated by the app from the rated range of the car you picked, your battery percent, the temperature and a road factor. Real range differs with speed, load, driving style and battery age.

Always keep a safety margin. Do not rely on the app as your only source when planning a trip, and never use it for safety-of-life decisions. Check the operator's information before you depend on a charger.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own safety, for obeying traffic law, and for using the app only where it is legal to do so. Do not operate the app while driving.

6. Third-party data licences

Station data is © Open Charge Map contributors, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, and © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under ODbL. Vehicle data comes from Open EV Data. Weather data comes from Open-Meteo. Their licences apply to that data.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of time, charge, vehicle use, data or profit, arising from your use of the app or from a charger being unavailable or different from what the app showed.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its design, text and code belong to MR SOFT IT. Apple and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Tesla, CCS, CHAdeMO and other plug names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

10. Changes and termination

We may update the app or these terms at any time. The current terms are always on this page with their effective date. We may stop offering the app or any feature. Your licence ends if you break these terms; delete the app to end it yourself.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where MR SOFT IT is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law in your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
